Tickets Now On Sale for MTC's The Other Place, Starring Laurie Metcalf

Tickets are now on sale for Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Sharr White's The Other Place. Directed by Joe Mantello, the production will star Laurie Metcalfe, reprising her work from the show's 2011 off-Broadway run. Performances begin December 11 at Broadway's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Opening night is set for January 10, 2013.

Metcalf’s daughter, Zoe Perry, will join the Emmy-winning actress as her stage daughter in the production. Home Alone funnyman Daniel Stern will make his Broadway debut as Metcalf's husband, Ian. The cast will also feature John Schiappa, reprising his role from the show's off-Broadway run.

Metcalf stars as Juliana Smithton, a neurologist whose research leads to a potential breakthrough in Alzheimer treatment drugs. While her professional life thrives, Smithton's family life takes a disorienting turn. During a lecture to colleagues at an exclusive beach resort, she glimpses an enigmatic young woman in a yellow bikini amidst the crowd of business suits. One step at a time, a mystery unravels as contradictory evidence, blurred truth and fragmented memories collide in a cottage on the windswept shores of Cape Cod.
